Google Analytics 4 Upgrade Assistance
In the fall of 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Google released a new version of Google Analytics, and announced that it will be turning off data collection for Universal Analytics in mid-2023.
Most sites built since 2020 have the new version installed. But those built pre-pandemic will have the older analytics. My recommendation is that you have the new analytics installed soon, as then you will have historical data when the switch is made.
